My 3-year-old and Iwere looking through a photo album of him from when he was born and at first he had trouble reconciling the fact that the pictures were of HIM. Once he got past that, he became quite intrigued and had lots of questions, as 3-year-olds do. At the very end of the photo [...]
Wow, I can’t believe it’s been months since my last blog post. Where does time go? Wish I could say I’ve been preoccupied training for the 5k but that wouldn’t be true (well, not entirely; I have been training but that’s not the reason I haven’t been blogging). Between work, the kids and their activities [...]
Earlier this week we had parent/teacher conferences at daycare. Everything was normal and both boys are not only doing well, in Connor’s case he’s mastered half of what he should learn when he turns 2 (he won’t be 2 until mid June). One item came up, however, and while it was a tad bit concerning [...]
I’m sitting here watching “The Biggest Loser” and what do the remaining contestants have to do this week? They head to Texas to lead teams of local residents to complete a 5K. Destiny? I think so. All signs are pointing to me doing this. And now I’ve publicly blogged about this twice so there’s no [...]
So here I am again, a month since my last post and lamenting about how hard it is to get into a groove. Same thing with exercise; I’m training for a 5K in July and for 3 weeks it went well. I was following my prescribed training program and feeling really great about the progress [...]
Today is my older son’s 3rd birthday. I can’t believe he’s 3 already. He’s turning into such a handsome young boy with such a great personality. He’s very inquisitive, talkative and full of imagination. I’m amazed at how he thinks things through and the questions he comes up with. His favorite song is “Hot Pants” [...]
As we start the second month of the year, I’m amazed at how quickly time continues to pass. My older son turns 3 on Saturday and I wonder how he got to be 3 already. Seems like just yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital to a half packed up house as we [...]
Now that it’s been a few days and I’m mostly comfortable with using my new Droid, I decided tonight was the night to jump in and learn more about the numerous apps that are available for download. I had downloaded 2 or 3 right when I activated the phone (thanks to the helpful reps at [...]
For the past couple of weeks my husband and I have been looking for a new refrigerator, with most of our research done online. We have ventured out to a few stores which was a bit of a nightmare with two small children in tow. From a shopping perspective, we hit the jackpot at Steinhafels. [...]
My husband bought me the new Droid for Christmas and while I was a bit hesitant at first, the more I play with it, the more I love it! So many fun apps and cool features. I know the iPhone fans out there will disagree with me but I don’t have one so I can’t [...]
The Daily Krier is running commentary on what's happening in my life on a regular basis. I write about things that interest me -- my family, my hobbies, my career in marketing. The blog was born from my interest in writing, my need to become more involved in all things related to social media, and my desire to start on my personal brand. The blog title is a play on my last name. It's technically pronounced "kreer" but everyone pronounces it as "cry-er". The mis-pronounciation lends itself extremely well to the title, don't you think?
