Chipotle vs Qdoba. In all honesty, I don’t have a preference. A burrito is a burrito, as far as I’m concerned. The reason I tend to go to Chipotle more frequently is because of a cow0rker but also because it’s closer to my office than Qdoba. Well, a Qdoba opened just down the street from my office today and I’m sure Chipotle’s feeling a bit of pressure so they made a smart, proactive move.
I put my business card in their basket at least a month ago (for the free lunch) and not only did they call me with an offer of a free lunch, they extended that to every one of my coworkers. That’s right, today everyone I work with who went to Chipotle at lunch and showed their business card got a free burrito, salad or tacos and a drink. Did I mention it was free? Very smart move on their part. Not only did they take potential business away from Qdoba on their opening day, they probably created some loyal fans. Nice job, Chipotle!
The Daily Krier is running commentary on what's happening in my life on a regular basis. I write about things that interest me -- my family, my hobbies, my career in marketing. The blog was born from my interest in writing, my need to become more involved in all things related to social media, and my desire to start on my personal brand. The blog title is a play on my last name. It's technically pronounced "kreer" but everyone pronounces it as "cry-er". The mis-pronounciation lends itself extremely well to the title, don't you think?

Chipotle is king when it comes to customer loyalty. When I went to MSOE, they had free burrito day for the entire university on the first day of each quarter. I believe they did the same for UWM. Yesterday’s free burrito is one of probably 100 free burritos I’ve scored from Chipotle.
