It was a big day for my son Joshua today. My husband Andrew took him fishing for the first time. Post-nap this afternoon, they put the fishing gear in the car and headed off to a local park that has a small pond. About an hour later my phone rang and I heard Andrew say, “Hold on a second, Joshua has something to tell you.” Then I hear, “Momma, I catch a fish!”
It was so adorable. Andrew gets back on the phone and proceeds to tell me that the fish is all about 2 inches long but, hey, it’s a fish. They got home about an hour later and I learned that Joshua caught 2 more fish. He was so excited, even though he told me he only caught 2 fish. Then he said that he wanted to go swimming. So much for the excitement surrounding fishing. I guess that’s what happens when you’re 2.
The Daily Krier is running commentary on what's happening in my life on a regular basis. I write about things that interest me -- my family, my hobbies, my career in marketing. The blog was born from my interest in writing, my need to become more involved in all things related to social media, and my desire to start on my personal brand. The blog title is a play on my last name. It's technically pronounced "kreer" but everyone pronounces it as "cry-er". The mis-pronounciation lends itself extremely well to the title, don't you think?
