OK, so blogging about celebrities on Twitter has now resulted in 3 blog posts. I seriously wasn’t thinking I’d add 2 more after the initial one. Anyway, I just saw on Mashable tonight that Ashton Kutcher has now hit 2 million followers (and no, I’m not one of the 2 million). That’s great for him but just shows that Twitter has different uses for different people. People like him use it to communicate on their terms, others use Twitter to learn from peers and other industry experts, and others use it simply to network. And I guess that’s the beauty of social networking, especially Twitter — you determine how you’ll use it and what you hope to get out of it.
The Daily Krier is running commentary on what's happening in my life on a regular basis. I write about things that interest me -- my family, my hobbies, my career in marketing. The blog was born from my interest in writing, my need to become more involved in all things related to social media, and my desire to start on my personal brand. The blog title is a play on my last name. It's technically pronounced "kreer" but everyone pronounces it as "cry-er". The mis-pronounciation lends itself extremely well to the title, don't you think?
