Last week I blogged about following a musician on Twitter, and I’m sure everyone has heard about Ashton Kutcher’s wager with CNN and Oprah finally joining Twitter. Just this morning I heard that Kimora Lee Simmons had her third baby over the weekend, and that she tweeted both during labor and shortly after the baby was born to publicly announce that he had arrived. Really?! Is that how people are now communicating things such as giving birth? Don’t get me wrong, I love Twitter. And I guess from a celebrity vantage point, it gives them the ability to easily share information with the public vs using their publicists and issuing statements. But I don’t know. I had my 2nd baby last June and can’t imagine tweeting during or right after labor. Maybe I’m just old school. What do you think?
The Daily Krier is running commentary on what's happening in my life on a regular basis. I write about things that interest me -- my family, my hobbies, my career in marketing. The blog was born from my interest in writing, my need to become more involved in all things related to social media, and my desire to start on my personal brand. The blog title is a play on my last name. It's technically pronounced "kreer" but everyone pronounces it as "cry-er". The mis-pronounciation lends itself extremely well to the title, don't you think?
