For those of you who check out my blog periodicially (or even regularly), you’ve seen that I’ve been MIA since last Wednesday. Well, I was in Las Vegas for a few days with my husband, Andrew, and his sister and her husband to celebrate Andrew’s 40th birthday. I had the best of intentions concerning my blog — even hauled my laptop along, thinking that I’d have 10 or 15 minutes each day to blog briefly. Well the truth is there wasn’t a lot of downtime (that’ll happen in Vegas) and even when there was, I was much more interested in napping, relaxing by the pool or shopping. There’s no harm in taking a break every now and then, right?
Oh, and for the record, the trip was fantastic. We did a ton of walking (the blister on my right foot is testament to that), some gambling (my husband won $120.50 on a 50 cent bet), a fair amount of drinking and saw a lot of sights. Took in a great show (Cirque du Soleil’s Zumanity), found some fabulous deals at Nordstrom’s and enjoyed a few days away from reality. But now it’s back to work and back to blogging regularly.
The Daily Krier is running commentary on what's happening in my life on a regular basis. I write about things that interest me -- my family, my hobbies, my career in marketing. The blog was born from my interest in writing, my need to become more involved in all things related to social media, and my desire to start on my personal brand. The blog title is a play on my last name. It's technically pronounced "kreer" but everyone pronounces it as "cry-er". The mis-pronounciation lends itself extremely well to the title, don't you think?
