I ordered a piece of clothing online last week and have been impressed with the level of communications and customer service ever since then. First, I received a standard “thank you for placing your order” email, followed the next day with a link to UPS to track the shipment. Once the package arrived, I received yet another email from the company indicating that they noticed the package had been delivered and inquiring as to if I was satisfied. A day later another email came indicating that if I had any reason whatsoever to want to return the item, I could do so along with instructions. Was this email overkill?
Maybe to some people, yes, but before I ordered the item I did a ton of research online and found only positive comments from people. Now I have to admit that while I liked the product, I don’t think I’m keeping it but if my experience with the company to date is any indicator, I don’t think I’ll have any problem returning it. That entire interaction is how you create raving fans. Well done!
The Daily Krier is running commentary on what's happening in my life on a regular basis. I write about things that interest me -- my family, my hobbies, my career in marketing. The blog was born from my interest in writing, my need to become more involved in all things related to social media, and my desire to start on my personal brand. The blog title is a play on my last name. It's technically pronounced "kreer" but everyone pronounces it as "cry-er". The mis-pronounciation lends itself extremely well to the title, don't you think?
