My older son, Joshua, was prompted by my husband this morning to wish me a Happy Mother’s Day. Andrew, my husband, said “tell mommy what we practiced” and out of my 2-year-old’s mouth comes “Happy Birthday, Mama”. How could I not love that?! As Mother’s Days go, it was fine. Joshua finally got the hang of the greeting later this afternoon and repeated “Happy Mama’s Day” to me during dinner, which was sweet. And Connor, my 11-month-old, gave me a great present — he was asleep by 8:00 p.m. So with both boys in bed, I can sit and relax and reflect on how happy I am to have two such wonderful little boys.
The Daily Krier is running commentary on what's happening in my life on a regular basis. I write about things that interest me -- my family, my hobbies, my career in marketing. The blog was born from my interest in writing, my need to become more involved in all things related to social media, and my desire to start on my personal brand. The blog title is a play on my last name. It's technically pronounced "kreer" but everyone pronounces it as "cry-er". The mis-pronounciation lends itself extremely well to the title, don't you think?
