I ran to Cousins to grab a quick lunch today and was talking with a co-worker about Cousins vs Subway when the discussion turned to bread. Now at Subway you are asked right off the bat what kind of bread you want. Interesting that Cousins, whose tagline is “Better Bread, Better Subs” has a variety of breads to choose from but unless you ask for a specific type, they make your sub on the traditional Italian.
Given that they are claiming their bread is better, wouldn’t you think their frontline workers would automatically ask what type of bread you want? Just a marketing observation….
The Daily Krier is running commentary on what's happening in my life on a regular basis. I write about things that interest me -- my family, my hobbies, my career in marketing. The blog was born from my interest in writing, my need to become more involved in all things related to social media, and my desire to start on my personal brand. The blog title is a play on my last name. It's technically pronounced "kreer" but everyone pronounces it as "cry-er". The mis-pronounciation lends itself extremely well to the title, don't you think?
