I ran to Cousins to grab a quick lunch today and was talking with a co-worker about Cousins vs Subway when the discussion turned to bread.  Now at Subway you are asked right off the bat what kind of bread you want.  Interesting that Cousins, whose tagline is “Better Bread, Better Subs” has a variety of breads to choose from but unless you ask for a specific type, they make your sub on the traditional Italian.  Cousins logo

 

Given that they are claiming their bread is better, wouldn’t you think their frontline workers would automatically ask what type of bread you want? Just a marketing observation….
