I’ve been a member of AMA-Milwaukee chapter for the past several years and am currently serving as the president.   Each president likes to put their stamp on the organization, to make their mark in a certain way, and I’m no different.  Our chapter has made great progress the past several years and is on track to keep that going.  My goal as president has been to get the chapter more involved in social media and we took a giant step forward recently when we secured several great board members for next season.  We’ve added several people who work for agencies as well as a local social media expert who has a lot of connections that will help us move forward.  At our board meeting today we had a great discussion about using social media to promote our upcoming monthly program, as well as enhancements we can make to our website.  It’s exciting to know that a great team has been put in place and to know that I’m a part of that.  I think we’re going to make tremendous progress in a very short period of time.  Check back soon to learn what’s new!
