I was having a discussion with a co-worker today about technology and how quickly things change. It’s so easy now to query Google to find a quick answer to a question or to find a resource. It’s hard to think back to the “old school” way of doing research like when I was in high school — going to the library, looking things up in books, etc. I wonder how different things will be when my kids are in school. They are little now (one is 2, the other is 8 months) but in a couple of years when my older son starts K4 I can’t even fathom what tools will be available to him. At the daycare they attend now, I see kids — little kids — using a computer. Granted, they’re just playing a game but still, it shows how ingrained technology is from early on. I can’t wait to see what my kids learn and can teach me.
The Daily Krier is running commentary on what's happening in my life on a regular basis. I write about things that interest me -- my family, my hobbies, my career in marketing. The blog was born from my interest in writing, my need to become more involved in all things related to social media, and my desire to start on my personal brand. The blog title is a play on my last name. It's technically pronounced "kreer" but everyone pronounces it as "cry-er". The mis-pronounciation lends itself extremely well to the title, don't you think?

I was just now looking for information about this when I stumbled on your blog post. I’m just visiting to say that I definitely liked reading this post, it’s very well written. Are you going to write more on this? It looks like there’s more material here for future posts.
