Ever have one of those days where you feel like you’re spinning your wheels and not going anywhere? I feel like I have those days a lot lately. There are a lot of projects in process, yet getting traction on any of them is challenging. Like the American Marketing Association, for example. I’m the president of the local chapter and just last Friday I secured the final board member for next year’s board. What an accomplishment! Then today I find out one of them may not be able to serve after all. So here I am again, trying to find yet one more volunteer to fill a position.
That’s why this blog is so good for me. The title makes me accountable for posting daily so at least I feel like I’m accomplishing something each day. Plus it gets my creative juices flowing. Now if I could only cross something else off my to-do list everyday!
The Daily Krier is running commentary on what's happening in my life on a regular basis. I write about things that interest me -- my family, my hobbies, my career in marketing. The blog was born from my interest in writing, my need to become more involved in all things related to social media, and my desire to start on my personal brand. The blog title is a play on my last name. It's technically pronounced "kreer" but everyone pronounces it as "cry-er". The mis-pronounciation lends itself extremely well to the title, don't you think?
